Join us for an inspiring evening featuring Green Table Grant recipient South Seattle College.

Discover their innovative culinary arts, nutrition, and pastry programs—supported by grants awarded in 2024 and 2025.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

• ·         Home grain mill → led to USDA grant
• ·         New 24” New American Stone Mill now on campus
• ·         Whole grain baking curriculum launch
• ·         Bannetons, baking boards, and tools for hands-on learning

Led by Chef Kim Mahar and Professor Merri Metcalf Manning, with support from Dean Brian Scheehser, this program is a standout model in culinary education.

EVENT DETAILS

Open meeting - $40 for members, $50 for guests

• ·         Location: NW Wine Academy, 6000 16th Ave SW
• ·         Time: 5:30 – 8:30
• ·         Parking is free and available in the lot outside the Academy
• ·         Dinner buffet prepared by students and 1 glass of wine (non-alcoholic options available)
• ·         Enjoy a no-host bar with NW Wine Academy wines or share a bottle with fellow Dames
